A Refined Treatment

What Is DiamondGlow?

DiamondGlow® is a proven treatment from Allergan Aesthetics. It uses a diamond-tipped wand to gently exfoliate dead skin, suction away impurities, and deliver a serum all at once. This three-step process is called Dermalinfusion.

DiamondGlow isn’t like traditional medical dermabrasion, which removes deeper layers and needs a long recovery. Instead, it gently treats only the top layer of skin and can be used on your face, neck, or chest as needed.

Precision in Every Pass

How Does a DiamondGlow Facial Work?

DiamondGlow uses its 3X1™ technology to exfoliate, extract, and infuse your skin in one treatment:

  1. Exfoliation: One of six customizable diamond tips is selected to remove dead skin cells at a level suited to your skin type.
  2. Extraction: Calibrated suction lifts oil, debris, and buildup from clogged pores. Areas with blackheads or congestion can receive more attention.
  3. Infusion: The device delivers a SkinMedica® Pro-Infusion Serum as the skin is resurfaced. This places the serum on the skin when the fresh surface is most receptive.

During the treatment, you might feel gentle scratching and suction as the device moves over your skin. There are no needles or heat, and your provider can adjust the settings if you feel any discomfort.

Where Surface Renewal Goes Further

What Skin Concerns Can DiamondGlow Address?

DiamondGlow can help with concerns like skin texture, hydration, tone, and clarity. It may improve dryness, dullness, fine lines, clogged pores, uneven pigmentation, mild sun damage, and marks left after blemishes.

This treatment doesn’t fix deep acne scars, loose skin, or deep wrinkles. If your concerns go deeper, we may suggest a chemical peel, microneedling, RF microneedling, or laser treatment instead.

A Brighter Finish

What Are the Benefits of DiamondGlow?

The main benefits of a DiamondGlow treatment may include:

  • Removal of dead skin cells and visible buildup
  • Smoother texture and a more even skin tone
  • Cleaner-looking pores
  • Deeper hydration for dry skin
  • A softer appearance around fine lines
  • Targeted serum infusion
  • Brighter skin before a special event
  • Little to no downtime for most patients
  • Customization for a broad range of skin types

A single session can make your skin look fresher and feel smoother. If you have ongoing dryness, congestion, or uneven texture, monthly treatments may help you keep those results longer.

Infusion Chosen for Your Skin

Which Pro-Infusion Serum Is Right for Me?

DiamondGlow uses five professional-grade SkinMedica Pro-Infusion Serums. Each one is formulated to address specific skin concerns:

  • TNS® Advanced+: Targets the appearance of aging skin, including coarse wrinkles, fine lines, tone, and texture
  • HA5® Hydra Collagen: Uses hydrating ingredients, including hyaluronic acid, to replenish moisture and support dry skin
  • Even & Correct Advanced Brightening: Addresses visible hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone
  • Pore Purifying: Clarifies congested pores and improves the appearance of post-acne discoloration
  • Vitamin C: Provides antioxidant support for dullness and visible photodamage

You don’t need to choose a serum before your appointment. Manor will check your skin and explain which serums are best for you. Your provider may use one serum or combine two, depending on your needs.

Similar Glow, Different Techniques

DiamondGlow vs. HydraFacial

Both treatments exfoliate, clean, and hydrate your skin, but they work in different ways. DiamondGlow uses a diamond tip to exfoliate while also using suction and adding serum at the same time. It’s a good option if you want to smooth rough skin and get a targeted SkinMedica serum.

HydraFacial uses a spiral tip with both physical and chemical exfoliation, then uses suction and adds moisture. It may be better if you are mainly concerned about clogged pores and hydration. Manor offers both treatments, and your provider can help you choose the best one for your skin.

The Details of Your Appointment

What Can I Expect During DiamondGlow?

At your appointment, Manor will check your skin, ask about your current products, any medications you use, and recent treatments. Then, they will choose the right diamond tip, suction level, and serum for your needs. The provider moves the diamond-tipped wand over your skin in small sections. The whole facial takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Afterward, your skin should feel softer and look more hydrated. Most people can go back to their usual activities right away.

The Right Treatment at the Right Time

Am I a Good Candidate for DiamondGlow?

DiamondGlow may be a good choice if you want a nonsurgical way to treat dryness, dullness, clogged pores, uneven texture, or early signs of aging. It works for many skin types, but everyone needs a personal assessment first.

The treatment shouldn’t be performed on compromised skin quality, including sunburned, chapped, irritated, or broken skin. It’s also contraindicated over open wounds, active weeping acne, cold sores, or herpetic ulcers. Tell Manor about allergies, topical medications, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and any condition that affects healing.

A Better Start for Your Skin

How Should I Prepare for DiamondGlow?

Manor might ask you to stop using retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs, or benzoyl peroxide before your treatment. How long you need to pause depends on your products and how sensitive your skin is. Try to avoid tanning and too much sun before your appointment. If you’ve had waxing, chemical peels, lasers, microneedling, Botox, or fillers recently, let Manor know when you book. This helps them schedule your treatments in the best order.

A Short Return to Radiance

What Is DiamondGlow Recovery Like?

There is very little downtime after DiamondGlow. You might have some redness, tightness, mild swelling, or sensitivity for a few hours. If your skin is sensitive, it may take a bit longer to calm down.

After your treatment, use a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Wait to use retinoids, acids, scrubs, or other strong products until your provider says it’s okay. You can usually wear makeup after the procedure, but letting your skin rest for the day might feel best.

The heat and dry air in Phoenix can make your skin drier after treatment. Drink plenty of water, avoid the midday sun, and reapply sunscreen when you are outside. Protecting your skin from the sun is especially important after exfoliation, especially in Arizona.

Immediate Polish, Continued Improvement

When Will I See DiamondGlow Results?

You may see smoother, clearer, and more hydrated skin after just one treatment. Results can vary based on your skin, the serum used, and how you care for your skin at home.

In a study by the manufacturer with 20 patients, 90% had more radiant skin and 89% saw less dryness or scaling just 15 minutes after treatment. After six sessions, 81% of 17 patients saw better skin tone and 79% noticed fewer fine lines. These studies were small, so results can vary for each person.

Some people schedule DiamondGlow before a special event, while others come in monthly to maintain their results. Manor will help you set up a schedule that fits your goals and works with any other treatments you may have.

Yes. DiamondGlow is a type of diamond-tip dermabrasion, but it also includes extraction and Pro-Infusion serum delivery. Regular microdermabrasion does not offer the same infusion step at the same time.

The suction can clear out clogged pores and help reduce blackheads. If you have ongoing congestion, you might need more treatments or a full acne-care plan.

Yes, you can combine DiamondGlow with Botox or fillers, but timing matters. Manor may suggest doing DiamondGlow before injections or waiting until the treated areas have healed.

The cost depends on the area treated, the serum chosen, and your treatment plan. Manor will let you know the price before your treatment.
