The Clear + Brilliant system uses two distinct wavelengths. Original Mode uses a 1440 nm wavelength and is commonly selected for early fine lines, texture, and general renewal. Perméa Mode uses a 1927 nm wavelength closer to the surface, where it can address superficial pigmentation and uneven tone.

Clear + Brilliant and MOXI are nonablative fractional laser treatments with overlapping uses. Clear + Brilliant is commonly chosen for light resurfacing, addressing early signs of aging, or maintaining the results of other procedures. MOXI uses a 1927 nm fractional thulium laser and may be selected when visible pigment or texture needs a different level of correction.
Stronger laser treatments can produce greater improvements in damaged skin, but they usually require more recovery time. BBL might work better for redness or dark spots, and microneedling could be better for acne scars. We’ll review your options and recommend the treatment that best fits your skin, rather than using the same device for everyone.
At your visit, we will review your skin, any medications you take, the products you use, recent treatments, and your sun exposure. We may apply a numbing cream to keep you comfortable. You’ll wear protective eyewear while a trained provider treats your skin.
The treatment itself takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Most people feel warmth, prickling, or mild stinging. With preparation, your whole appointment will last about 30 to 45 minutes. The face is usually treated, but the neck and chest can also be included if needed.

Treatment should be postponed on sunburned, broken, infected, or inflamed skin. Tell Manor about cold sores, active skin conditions, light-sensitive medication, isotretinoin, immune conditions, or a history of keloid formation. Patients prone to keloid scarring or pigmentation issues need careful evaluation. Melasma also requires caution because laser heat can cause it to flare.
Before your treatment, avoid tanning and too much sun. Manor may ask you to stop using retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs, or other strong products for a while. Let your provider know if you’ve recently had fillers, neurotoxins, peels, microneedling, or other laser treatments so we can schedule your appointments safely.
Mild pinkness, warmth, or swelling may last 12 to 24 hours. Skin can feel sandpaper-like for several days as treated cells shed. Do not scrub or pick. Use a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher. Cleanse after sweating once Manor clears exercise.
Some patients notice smoother skin after a single treatment. Brighter skin and a more even tone tend to appear within one to two weeks. Clear + Brilliant results build over time, and most patients need three to six sessions for optimal results. The manufacturer reports visible improvements after four to six treatments.
